Perge — Aksu plain city plan
Perge Ancient City sits in Aksu on the historic Kestros corridor—classic Pamphylia, not Lycia and not a beach ruin. Termessos is a Pisidian fortress city inside Güllük Dağı National Park, roughly 1,000–1,050 m elevation after an uphill hike from parking. In 333 BC Alexander cleared the pass but, per Arrian’s tradition, did not capture the city—phrase “unconquered by Alexander” carefully; it is not a claim that nobody ever conquered Termessos. Side — resort peninsula with layered tickets
Side occupies a Manavgat peninsula: Greek settler tradition from Cyme (7th century BC class—qualified tradition), later pirate wealth and Roman temples/theatre. Open peninsula streets and the Apollo temple area are often free to walk. Ticketed Side Örenyeri is about €7; Side Museum about €5 (DOSIM sometimes notes a combined Tek Bilet around €10). DOSIM currently flags that the theatre may be closed—confirm before planning cavea access. Half a day is realistic. Drive from Antalya centre: roughly 70–90 minutes east.

Phaselis — three harbours on the Lycia–Pamphylia edge
Phaselis near Tekirova / Kemer sits on the eastern Lycia / Pamphylia border: Rhodian foundation tradition in the 7th century BC / ~690 BC class (approximate). Three harbours, pine shade, theatre, aqueduct remnants and beach access via the site ticket define the visit. Foreign ticket €10 DOSIM; MüzeKart typically valid; hours often 08:00–20:00 class—confirm. Allow ~2–3 hours plus swim buffer. Drive from Antalya centre: about 1–1.5 hours southwest.

Olympos — valley ruins; Yanartaş is separate
Olympos in the Çıralı / Olympos valley was a Lycian League city: dense vegetation, stream-side fabric and a path toward the beach. Foreign ticket €10 DOSIM; MüzeKart typically valid. Yanartaş (Chimera)—natural methane flames above Çıralı—is not inside the Olympos archaeological ticket area. Plan it as a separate hike/visit; MüzeKart usually does not cover Yanartaş (confirm any local fee on site). Allow ~2–4 hours for ruins and beach; evening Yanartaş is another block. Do not overpack Phaselis + Olympos + Yanartaş into one rushed afternoon.
West Lycia · Demre
Myra — rock tombs, theatre and St Nicholas in town
Myra at Demre is defined by Lycian rock tombs and a Roman theatre. Foreign ticket €13 DOSIM; MüzeKart typically valid; allow ~1.5–2.5 hours on the örenyeri. The Church / Museum of St Nicholas sits in Demre town (~1–1.5 km from the tombs)—a separate ticket (about €17 DOSIM for the museum). Nicholas was bishop of Myra; that church is not inside the Myra ruins gate. Drive from Antalya centre is a west Lycia day (~2.5–3.5 hours class each way depending on stops)—not a casual near-centre hop.
West Lycia · Kekova coast
Simena / Kaleköy — not the same as Kekova sunken city
Simena (village Kaleköy) is a hilltop Lycian settlement: castle, small theatre and tombs. Foreign örenyeri ticket about €4 DOSIM; MüzeKart typically valid. Simena is not the Kekova sunken city. Partially submerged ruins in the Kekova roadstead are viewed from boats—a related day-trip experience, not the same archaeological city as the Kaleköy castle site. Access is often by boat from Üçağız or Kaş day boats; plan as west Lycia, not an Antalya-centre morning.
West Lycia · Gelemiş
Patara — League capital ruins; St Nicholas church is not on site
Patara near Gelemiş (Kaş district) carries Lycian League capital tradition: theatre, bouleuterion, lighthouse remains and a long SPA-regulated beach. Foreign ticket €15 DOSIM; MüzeKart typically valid; allow ~2–3 hours plus beach buffer. Tradition places St Nicholas’s birth at Patara, but the famous church / museum is in Demre (Myra)—do not describe a “St Nicholas Church” as a Patara site monument. Early Christian basilicas exist at Patara; they are not that Demre church. Long drive from Antalya (~3+ hours class)—own day or multi-day west Lycia base.
West Lycia inland · Finike
Arykanda (Arycanda) — free terraced mountain city
Arykanda is the official Turkish form; English often writes Arycanda—same place. Above Arif on the Finike–Elmalı road (~30 km from Finike), the city climbs steep terraces: stadium, theatre, odeon/agora, baths-gymnasium, Helios temple and necropolis. DOSIM lists entry as free. Allow ~2–3 hours with good shoes. Quiet relative to Perge/Aspendos; plan from a Finike or west Lycia base, not as a near-Antalya filler stop.
