Beşiktaş ridge, not the Historic Peninsula
Saray Caddesi sits on the Beşiktaş hillside toward Yıldız, above the ferry piers and the palace shore. That is why so many rooms and the high bars look at the Bosphorus or the city skyline — and why a “central Istanbul” booking is not a Sultanahmet walk. Dolmabahçe Palace is the nearest imperial stop downhill. Ortaköy is the evening waterfront along the same shore; treat it as a short ride, not a suitcase stroll. Nişantaşı, AKM and the Harbiye congress cluster are inland hops.

Monteverdi
Monteverdi is the Italian room. It did not appear on the old version of this page. Recent hotel and guide listings call it Michelin Guide recommended. Pasta, a wood oven and a slower dinner are the useful brief; it is a separate reservation from Manzara.
Summit Bar & Terrace and Monet Lounge
Summit Bar & Terrace sits high in the S-curve — Forbes and owner copy put it on the 14th floor, not a locked “15th-floor Bosphorus Lounge.” Cocktails, sushi and live music against the skyline are the point. Monet Lobby Lounge & Patisserie is the daytime coffee and cake counter in the lobby — useful between meetings, not a substitute for dinner.
Wellness
Spa Soul, hammam and the two pools
The wellness floor is still sold as Spa Soul with a Health Club: indoor pool, outdoor pool, hammam, sauna, steam and a fitness room that hotel-partner pages call 24-hour. Tennis courts sit on the same campus. That is a full city-hotel club, not a single treatment room.
