Maçka
Where Swissôtel Istanbul sits
Maçka is a garden ridge between Beşiktaş’s waterfront and the Nişantaşı shopping streets. The hotel looks at the Bosphorus or at its own gardens, depending on the key. Accor places Dolmabahçe Palace about 1 km away — a short downhill hop, not a stay “inside the palace.” Topkapı, Hagia Sophia and the Grand Bazaar are taxi or chauffeured runs of roughly 7–10 km on Accor’s own card, not a morning walk from the lobby.
Accor writes Nişantaşı as about a 10-minute walk. Treat that as hotel copy, not a locked clock: bags, weather and the hill change the feel. The older “five-minute walk to nightlife” line is dropped. Beşiktaş ferry piers, Yıldız Park and the Harbiye congress pocket are city hops. This is a European-side hotel. It is useful when the week is Maçka, Nişantaşı, Beşiktaş or a Bosphorus-view stay. It is not a Sultanahmet substitute.
Istanbul has one Swissôtel hotel. Swissôtel Living is 63 residences on the same campus, not a second hotel. Swissôtel İzmir Büyük Efes, Swissôtel Resort Çeşme and Swissôtel Residences Bodrum sit outside Istanbul and are not profiled here.

Rooms and suites at Swissôtel The Bosphorus
The hotel’s dedicated accommodation page lists 566 rooms, including 23 suites, 7 loft suites and 94 executive rooms. Some Accor and brand pages still write 567. Use the rooms page when you need a locked count. Categories are sold with Bosphorus or garden outlooks — not every key faces the water. Confirm the view when you book.
Executive rooms add lounge access. Suites and lofts are the larger footprints for longer stays or extra living space. In-room technology and bedding follow the current Swissôtel / Accor standard. Older marketing that listed MP3 players is stale and is not repeated here. Non-smoking inventory is the house default on current materials. Square metres change by category; only the live booking page should lock a size.
Swissôtel Living residences
Swissôtel Living is the on-campus residence product: 63 apartments in seven types, from studios to three-bedroom homes, with kitchens and a more residential rhythm. Guests keep hotel services. Living copy adds the Living Lounge for breakfast and the Living Terrace outdoor infinity pool. That pool is a Living amenity — do not treat it as the only water on campus. Hotel guests use the Pürovel indoor and outdoor pools. Living is the right ask when the stay is weeks, not a single city-break night.

Sabrosa
Sabrosa is the all-day restaurant: international plates and the hotel’s Sunday brunch on current menus. It is the everyday table, not a hidden speakeasy.
Chalet and Chalet Garden
Chalet and Chalet Garden are the Alpine rooms — schnitzel, seasonal plates and a garden setting when the weather holds. Hotel materials have cited Gault & Millau two hats (2024). One English hotel page has also marked Chalet as temporarily closed. Treat opening status as live hotel information, not a permanent fact on this page.
16 Roof
16 Roof is the high terrace bar-restaurant. Hotel overview copy frames it as a summer venue. DJ nights, a terrace table and a Bosphorus backdrop are the product. Opening months and dress notes change; ask the hotel you booked. Hookah or shisha service, when offered, is seasonal and not a year-round promise.
Madhu’s, Oasis and the rest of the house
Madhu’s is the Indian restaurant. Hotel materials call it the first Madhu’s in Türkiye, opened at this address. Signature plates and cellar notes change; this page does not rank it as “the best Indian restaurant in Istanbul” and does not lock a humidor claim. Oasis is the pool-side room. Cafe Swiss covers lighter hours. GABBRO appears on winter-leaning hotel lists. The Executive Lounge is for upgraded rooms and qualifying loyalty tiers.

Pürovel Spa and the pools
The house wellness name is Pürovel, also written Pürovel X Urban Fit on current Accor extras. The published floor is about 4,000 m²: 14 treatment rooms, three couple suites, two hammams, sauna, steam, pilates and fitness, plus an indoor pool and an outdoor pool. Treatments use the brand’s Alpine / organic-oil story. Hours, couple-suite access and outdoor-pool dates move with the season. Book the spa through the hotel you reserved — not through a Cab Istanbul WhatsApp number.

Meetings and events
Accor’s events card lists 28 meeting rooms. The largest room is published at about 1,070 m², banquet capacity 1,008, and a maximum seated figure of 1,600. Hotel extras also name the Fuji Ballroom at about 1,100 m². Older “1,200 guests” copy on this site is retired in favour of Accor’s current numbers. That max-seat figure is a published ceiling, not a promise that every layout holds 1,600. Weddings, congress blocks and social events use the same floor plate. Istanbul Airport (IST)

Sabiha Gökçen Airport (SAW)
