Marriott hotels in Istanbul are a family of addresses, not one Şişli tower. The current official names in this briefing are Istanbul Marriott Hotel Sisli, Istanbul Marriott Hotel Asia, Istanbul Marriott Hotel Pendik, JW Marriott Istanbul Bosphorus and JW Marriott Hotel Istanbul Marmara Sea.
The five keys sit on different shores and different clocks: a Şişli business-retail belt, an Ataşehir corporate campus, a Pendik / SAW corridor hotel, a Karaköy waterfront JW inside a historic han, and a Marmara-front JW in Ataköy. Cab Istanbul is an independent chauffeur and transfer company. It does not operate any Marriott hotel and has no verified partnership with Marriott International.

Şişli
Istanbul Marriott Hotel Sisli
The official name is Istanbul Marriott Hotel Sisli. The address is Abide-i Hürriyet Caddesi No: 142, Şişli — a European business and retail strip between Mecidiyeköy and the older Şişli core, not a Historic Peninsula hotel and not a Sabiha Gökçen hotel. Cevahir sits in the same pocket. Nişantaşı, Taksim and the Levent–Maslak offices are city hops. Topkapı is a planned day, not a walk from the lobby.
Marriott’s current rooms page lists 264 rooms including 41 suites. Floor-to-ceiling windows open to city, Bosphorus or Golden Horn outlooks on selected categories — not on every key. Deluxe and Executive rooms, Corner Suites, family rooms and a Presidential Suite appear on the same page. The Executive Lounge on floor 32 is the decision point for many business stays: snacks, a work setting and a high city or Bosphorus outlook, with access tied to Executive categories and Bonvoy elite tiers.
Named dining on the official menu is The Dish Room for Turkish and Western plates in an open kitchen, The Dish Room Terrace when the weather holds, My Bar, and a Starbucks “We Proudly Serve” counter. Wellness sits in the Marriott Sisli Health Club & Spa, published at about 2,300 m², with an indoor pool, hammam, jacuzzi, spa treatments and an outdoor tennis court. Fitness is written as a 24-hour guest amenity on the rooms copy.
Meetings use about 1,337 m², seven rooms and the Istanbul Grand Ballroom (theatre 850 on the events chart; hotel copy also speaks of larger exhibition layouts). Weddings and social events use the same floor. Parking is on site. Guests arriving at Istanbul Airport stay on the European side; SAW still means a crossing.
Ataşehir
Istanbul Marriott Hotel Asia
The official name is Istanbul Marriott Hotel Asia. The address is Kayışdağı Caddesi No: 3, Ataşehir — an Asian-side corporate hotel, not a Karaköy JW and not the Pendik Marriott. Ataşehir’s office towers, Palladium and the Kozyatağı retail belt sit in the same working city. Kadıköy markets and a European-side monument morning are booked legs, not a stroll from the porte-cochère.
Rooms are written as high-ceiling spaces with work desks, safes, minibars and Marriott Revive bedding. Executive rooms and suites add lounge access. Upper categories are sold with city or Marmara / Princes’ Islands outlooks. Marriott’s current rooms page does not lock a public room total; city lists commonly cite 238. This briefing does not invent a Presidential floor plan or an in-room jacuzzi inventory.
Official dining is Orange Southern Mediterranean Grill for all-day and breakfast service, 49 East Lounge Bar for lighter plates and meetings-over-coffee, plus Pool Bar Terrace and Pool Bar Garden in season. A rooftop restaurant is not on the current official dining list, so it is not repeated here.
Palestra Fitness & Spa is the house wellness name: indoor pool, seasonal outdoor garden pool, seasonal terrace pool, jacuzzi, hammam, sauna, steam and massage. Events are a real second product — 11 rooms, about 1,953 m², a 756 m² Safir Ballroom at theatre 900, plus pool-garden and terrace layouts for weddings. Pendik
Istanbul Marriott Hotel Pendik
The official name is Istanbul Marriott Hotel Pendik. The address is Çamçeşme Mahallesi, Tevfik İleri Caddesi No: 209, Pendik. This is a coastal Asian Marriott for the Pendik / Tuzla business strip and for guests arriving at SAW — not a shortened spelling of the Ataşehir hotel and not a European JW. Marriott’s own card places Sabiha Gökçen 11 km from the door. That is geography, not a locked drive time.
Hotel and venue materials list 231 rooms, including sea-view rooms and suites and an M Club floor. High ceilings, 55-inch screens, safes, minibars and work-ready rooms are the published guest-room line. M Club is the lounge for upgraded rooms and Bonvoy elite tiers. Marmara and Princes’ Islands outlooks are the reason some leisure guests pick this key even when the diary is industrial.
Marriott’s dining page names Main Restaurant for breakfast and international plates, Roof Restaurant and Roof Bar for Marmara and island views, and a Lobby Bar. Nerolie Spa & Fitness publishes an indoor pool, an outdoor pool, a jacuzzi, steam and massage; the hotel’s own presentation also lists a hammam. Meetings are not a footnote: eight rooms, about 1,763 m², and a 765 m² column-free ballroom at theatre 900.
Use this hotel when the week is Pendik, Tuzla, SAW or an Asian-side coastal stay with a roof table. Do not use it as a sightseeing base for Sultanahmet. Island context: Princes’ Islands. Arrival product: a Sabiha Gökçen transfer.
Karaköy
JW Marriott Istanbul Bosphorus
The official name is JW Marriott Istanbul Bosphorus — not a Şişli Marriott and not the Marmara Sea JW. The address is Kemankeş Caddesi No: 49/8, inside the restored Veli Alemdar Han in Karaköy, Beyoğlu. Hotel pages describe a building about 180 years old, a 35-metre atrium and 130 rooms and suites. Selected rooms look at the Bosphorus; others look at the city, Galata or the historic courtyard.
The character is a luxury city stay on the water: boutiques, galleries and Galataport next door, Galata Tower above the roofs, Tophane and Istanbul Modern in the same walking city, Istiklal Street as a short hop. The Historic Peninsula is a tram or car run, not a substitute for a Sultanahmet hotel.
Official dining is a Karaköy cluster, not one grill: Octo for a modern Mediterranean table, seasonal rooftop Sky Karaköy (hotel copy: May–November), Tea Lounge in the old brick rooms, Istanbul Baking Company, ninth-floor Galata Lounge, a small Wine Cellar for private dinners, IOKI Nau for Nikkei / Japanese plates, and Skull & Bones on the street. Spa Soul lists hammams and treatment rooms. Fitness is published as 24-hour, with sauna and steam. A swimming pool is not on the official amenity list, so this page does not invent one.
Event space is intimate — two small meeting rooms plus Galata Lounge — not a 900-seat ballroom. Official kilometre cards put both IST and SAW at 45 km. “Equidistant” is hotel language; the clock still belongs to traffic and the time of day. Cruise guests, couples and city-break travellers use this key when Karaköy is the point of the trip.
Ataköy
JW Marriott Hotel Istanbul Marmara Sea
The official name is JW Marriott Hotel Istanbul Marmara Sea. The address is Rauf Orbay Caddesi No: 2/1 L B, Ataköy, Bakırköy. Keep it apart from JW Marriott Istanbul Bosphorus: this is a Marmara-front, resort-leaning city hotel on Istanbul’s western European shore, not a Karaköy han. The 2022 opening release lists 204 rooms and suites over 17 floors, most with balconies toward the sea or the skyline.
Suites add living rooms and kitchen areas; Signature and Presidential categories are sold with terrace jacuzzis. An Executive Lounge is published for executive rooms and elite Bonvoy tiers. The stay reads as space, balcony and sea light more than as a historic-street hotel.
Official dining is Ceres for Mediterranean all-day service and breakfast, Akira Back Istanbul for modern Japanese (hotel copy: Chef Akira Back’s Türkiye restaurant), The Pearl as a lobby lounge with a sea outlook, The Vitola Lounge, and Sail at the pool. La Vallée Spa lists hammam and treatment rooms. Official experiences publish an indoor pool and a seasonal outdoor pool plus a jacuzzi. Outdoor dates move with the season — ask the hotel you booked.
Families, couples and event groups use this key when a waterfront room and a spa-and-pool day matter as much as the city. Bakırköy and Ataköy shopping sit in the same western pocket. The Historic Peninsula and Taksim are European-side drives. IST is the nearer passenger airport on the map; SAW still crosses. Weddings and larger social events are a published hotel product here in a way the smaller Karaköy JW is not.

Three active Marriott Executive Apartments carry the Marriott name without being the five hotels above. They suit longer stays with kitchens, not a one-night city-break in Karaköy.
Marriott Executive Apartments Istanbul Fulya
Official address: Ayazmaderesi Caddesi No: 10, Dikilitaş, Beşiktaş. One- to five-bedroom apartments with living rooms and kitchens, plus a lounge, fitness, steam and sauna on the hotel’s own pages. Fulya sits between Şişli, Nişantaşı and Beşiktaş — useful when the stay is weeks, not a weekend.
Marriott Executive Apartments Istanbul Investvadi
Also published as Marriott Executive Apartments Istanbul Vadi. Address: Ayazağa, Kemerburgaz Caddesi, Sarıyer, on the northern European side near the Vadi / Belgrad Forest belt. Residences are written with full kitchens, laundry and separate living areas.
Marriott Executive Apartments Istanbul Tema World
Listed on marriott.com at Tema World in Atakent, Küçükçekmece. Developer materials describe 208 residences with spa and pool facilities and a 2025 opening. Treat it as an extended-stay west-Istanbul option, not as a fifth JW.
Delta, Residence Inn, Courtyard and the rest of the Bonvoy map are separate brands. They are left off this page on purpose.
Two shores
Marriott hotels on Istanbul’s European Side
Istanbul Marriott Hotel Sisli is the central business and shopping Marriott: offices, Cevahir, Nişantaşı, a high lounge. JW Marriott Istanbul Bosphorus is the sightseeing and waterfront city stay: Karaköy, Galataport, Galata, evening streets. JW Marriott Hotel Istanbul Marmara Sea is the western seafront key: balconies, pools, spa, a longer room product in Ataköy. All three can use IST without a Bosphorus bridge. None of them is “at” the airport.
Marriott hotels on Istanbul’s Asian Side
Istanbul Marriott Hotel Asia is the Ataşehir corporate campus — meetings, Palestra, Palladium-side shopping. Istanbul Marriott Hotel Pendik is the SAW and Pendik / Tuzla hotel with a roof over the Marmara. Both make sense when the diary is already on that shore. Do not assume the same room product. Şişli sells height, floor-to-ceiling glass and a 32nd-floor lounge; some rooms look at water, many look at the city. Asia sells high ceilings, desks and Executive lounge access above an Ataşehir campus. Pendik sells Marmara outlooks and an M Club floor on a 231-room inventory. JW Bosphorus is a smaller 130-key han: atrium rooms, Bosphorus rooms, Galata terraces — irregular historic footprints, not a tower grid. JW Marmara Sea sells balconies, sea light and larger suites on a 204-key waterfront tower. Square metres change by category; only use the hotel’s current booking page for a locked size.

The five hotels do not share one club. Şişli publishes Health Club & Spa with an indoor pool, hammam, jacuzzi, tennis court and a large fitness floor. Asia publishes Palestra with an indoor pool and two seasonal outdoor pools plus hammam, sauna and steam. Pendik publishes Nerolie with indoor and outdoor pools. JW Bosphorus publishes Spa Soul and 24-hour fitness with hammam, sauna and steam — not a pool on the official amenity list. JW Marmara Sea publishes La Vallée Spa, hammam, indoor pool and a seasonal outdoor pool. Outdoor hours move. Confirm the hotel you booked.

Şişli is the central European business Marriott: offices, a 32nd-floor lounge, a 1,337 m² event floor. Asia is the Ataşehir corporate campus with the largest published event inventory in this set (1,953 m², Safir 900). Pendik is the SAW / Tuzla / Pendik corridor hotel with a 765 m² ballroom. JW Bosphorus suits smaller central meetings and Galataport diaries, not a thousand-guest banquet. JW Marmara Sea suits western-shore corporate groups and larger social events with a sea backdrop.
A car with driver from Cab Istanbul can cover a Şişli session, a Nişantaşı dinner and an IST pickup as separate booked legs. That is still an independent service, not a hotel desk product.

Sabiha Gökçen Airport (SAW)
SAW is the Asian-side airport. Pendik is the geographically closest Marriott (11 km on the hotel card). Asia is the other Asian Marriott, inland in Ataşehir. Every European Marriott still means a crossing. See Sabiha Gökçen Airport and book a Sabiha Gökçen transfer if that is your arrival.
Use an Istanbul Airport transfer for IST. Vehicle class, including VIP transfer, is your Cab Istanbul booking — not a Marriott upgrade. A car with driver covers meetings, shopping, Bosphorus dinners and side-to-side hops.
