Ataturk Airport (LTBA) closed to commercial airline traffic in April 2019 when Istanbul Airport (IST) opened. If your commercial flight is landing in Istanbul, it will arrive at IST or Sabiha Gokcen (SAW) — not Ataturk.
However, the Ataturk FBO terminals and private aviation facilities remain fully operational. Business jets, charter aircraft, and private turboprops continue to use the Ataturk ramp. If your aircraft is arriving at the Ataturk private aviation terminal, we provide VIP ground transfers to your hotel, office, or any Istanbul address.
Pickup is coordinated with your FBO handler or flight crew. The route from Ataturk to central Istanbul is typically 20–35 minutes — shorter than the equivalent journey from IST. Please specify "Ataturk FBO / private terminal" in the notes field when booking. Do not select the commercial Istanbul Airport (IST) option for private jet arrivals at Ataturk.
